Just a thought Chas2, I emailed Greenfield and asked them if they had a pdf copy of the owners manual I could purchase.
Make sure you give all the details re your mower including the engine Model - Type - Code numbers, they should be on a plate attached to your engine.
They emailed me a copy for FREE the same day, here is a link to their contact page:

Maybe also ask them the question re will/what North/South engine will fit this mower.
