The Jets we have been discussing are the screws that hold the plate on, i put pics of them on one of the other pages.

For your mower, it should have a G4 carby, Not an LM, as the Main Jet (the big brass screw) for the 170cc engine, was only ever made for the G4 Carby.

You want the first one, with the chamfer.

Looking at the pictures of goliath you have posted, the new carby you have on there has a 160cc jet, however the one it came with has the corect jet, looking at the pictures on page to, with the jet and float on top of the mower.

As for the needle, i beleive either is fine.
