I'm more than happy to make the trip, however, seeing as you want to the collection, do you think you will be making it around here first?
If you do come this way, before i get a chance to come that way, pop Goliath in the boot, and i can have a look then.
Sounds like a carby issue, i have a few good LM's and G4's here we could do a swap with a known good one, and see what happens.
Once you get the hang of the plastic carby's, they are quite simple, its just getting used to them, and there quirks. When i fist started with them (began on G3's & 3L's) they drove me up the wall, but once you get it, there pretty easy, and very fast to service.
