For the G4, the tube fits firmly in the end of the jet screw, and should come out with the screw.
For the LM, the tube fits over the tip of the jet screw, but is fixed inside the carburetor, and will not come out with the screw (it cannot be removed from inside the carburetor, it is still white however, and you can see it in there.
If you are unsure whats going on once you get it apart, photograph what you see (plus this glue business) and i can tell you more.
