That's exactly what I need and to turn it up would really cost more than the postage, so I guess the consumer is going to pay. The consumer is me so that means I'm going to have to pay what it's going to cost. I wouldn't have it any other way. For small stuff like this AP is the only choice, but with larger items AP is a total rip and as such I'll never use them for that sort of stuff.
I just sent a box that's 550mm x 260mm x 300mm and weighed in at 3 Kg to Melbourne (Pakenham) via a courier company and it cost me $18.00. Now for the same sizing via AP it would've been around the mid $40's. So in that instance AP is way outside the ball park, but for small padded bag stuff they are in their own league. I guess it's all about what the contents are worth to who ?
