Fitting a full crank on a Masport can be done with a bit of work. If the base has the raised sections for the motor you could cut them off. This will drop the motor down enough so the blades end at about the right height. Then you would need a 3mm thick disc about 240 in diameter to bolt onto the deck to mount the F/C on. It would be easiest to use an early F/C with a rocket type muffler so it doesn't have to go through the deck and then you can mount the motor north/south and this gets the head away from the height adjuster bar in the east/west position. The mowers also feel much better with the motor north/south as it reduces the sideways vibration
