Lots of questions there and there is never a one piece fits all answer. The Chonda will bolt on, will it be the same cutting height, that depends on the offset in the blade carrier, some are deeper dished than others so this can vary the height of the blades up inside the body. I have not looked at what can be done to fit a Honda blade carrier to a Chonda one, it can be done but I'm sure it will require a lathe to get it centered up. The Hondas I have played with all seem to have the same diameter blade carrier but use longer blades to become the 19 inch. The Hondas and Chondas have the 22mm blade carrier which puts another problem in the boss mix. I have had to turn out the Honda bosses to fit the Briggs shafts so I can use the smaller diameter Honda blade carriers on the 16 inch mowers I have been putting together recently
