Maybe Blumbly should consider the suspending from the ceiling idea for his incredible VC 160 and VC 125 restorations.
Either that or display on a ramp lined with astro turf as Grace Bros did to their display mowers during my childhood. Ahhh memories.

Ahh, if only victa had kept producing the thumblatch catcher series, they would be in better shape today!

I'm not sure I can hang them from the roof as they are almost on the roof now.
Well I guess the VC-125's aren't,besides that I really don't have the space to hang them and the roof. The roof isn't high enough would easily bang your head walking under them.

You really do love your VCs. I see a disco purple number clamouring for the same treatment.
Nice job on the shelving and avoiding the need to stack them on top of each other. eek

Well yes I do.The only 2 VC's I don't have is the Green and Orange VC-Sports with the G4 carby. The shelving did require a fair bit of work. They were originally used for importing ride on mowers.I did have to cut them down as if I left them at the same height I would have only got 2 shelves not 3.So it's kind of funny how they were made to import mowers and now they store mowers.I don't believe in stacking on top of each other as it does damage to them.I did before I made the shelves and that's why I don't anymore.

Any auto drives you have applied that lovely hammer finish to yet?
