Cheers Deejay,
I was just wondering if the front roller is chrome or painted silver? I am taking the mower in today, so should have it back within 2 weeks.
Cheers.

Hi again Tom,The front roller is a steel tube, there is a product called Auto-One wheel silver which would look great. It is available in aerosol cans, and is not expensive.

Hi Tom,
As far as having the reel ground and the bed knife done at the same time, I strongly suggest you go and see Steve Rose out at Australian Saw Sharpening on Research Road Pooraka as he is the best in town and has many of the larger mower shops sending their work to him.
His prices are brilliant and his standard of workmanship is second to none, nothing like many other horror stories I've heard around the traps.
Cheers, BB

Hi Hooksey, unfortunately the young lad whose project this was has not come back to tell us how it all went. It would have been nice to have a conclusion to his thread.
