Ok just as an update on this cutter belt problem, ended up using the shorter belt which I think is an A100 and had to slot out one of the holes one one of the rear idler pulleys to get the belt tension right and now it is mowing as it should and my mate is a happy chappie. No idea why the original belt ended up going loose, as it had been working fine before we fitted the new motor.
