G'day Jack thanks for the tip off. The more I poke around the net the more I find our mate Ausanzani has been spreading the good word of his rebuild across the net. I haven't contacted him yet (not in a rush to sign up to outboard engine websites) but it seems so far he is the most informed (and indeed closest to me) authority on the subject. I did find that it seems the seagull outboard ran these motors for a while. Still researching. Could be a longer term project than anticipated.
