Checked seals with bit of petrol, no air bubbles that i can see. Cleaned and adjusted points and installed new condenser. Timing took a few attempts as something seemed to move and i kept getting slightly different readings for top dead centre, anyway i think its right now. It got late so i'll test it tomorrow.
