Just a correction in regards to alignment. The front roller can not be aligned as there is absolutely no adjustment apart from mower height.

Not a correction but a clarification ...
That's exactly what I mean. The Front roller
can be aligned, albeit by a torsion twist
of the front roller bracket. It's not that unconventional ... given how Victa crankshaft
halves were aligned on re-assembly. I've done a few of those too.
