Very few people know this but the Shahin family actually pump a LOT of money into domestic and international charities every year.
Hi IHWS,
I think you'll find that the Peregrine Group have acquired all the Mobil sites in SA as 7/11 do not exist in SA.
Check out the following link,
http://www.7eleven.com.au/storesAs far as BP are concerned all sites are pretty well in OTR control or about to be in their portfolio and as mentioned independents are slowly getting weeded out. I wouldn't trust a word that comes from the ACCC nor the EPA as both are toothless tigers that bend over backwards to big business.
As far as sponsorship is concerned please don't paint them as saints as I'm sure they are getting ever cent back around July from you and I, the tax payer. No one gives away money without expecting something in return, especially when it's business.
I've heard so many horror stories from employees and thus I have absolutely no regard for this organisation, SA or not.
