G'day all.

Jeez, its nice to back on the forum!

Just trying to ascertain the age of this 17" SB45 that I picked up for a steal.

It's mower number 03702 which I'm assuming is an early model. A couple of different features to my other 45 are the following;

• Engine plate is solid and bolted at the sides
  
  • cluch lever base is screwed down and not welded
    
    • side cover has horizontal screws and not vertical
      
  • forward control cable mount is different.
    
    It has a silver 2hp briggs which I'm thinking is not original but should be a kirby instead.
    
    I know that the catcher is from a new model and lucky me, nearly dent free
    
    Any info or photos would be greatly appreciated.
