TrajkulaSB45,Grumpy is quite correct, the silver 2HP. Briggs and Strattons were fitted to the early 14" Scotties, whilst the 17" machines were fitted with the Kirby Tecumseh (Lauson) HK 30, 3HP. 4-Stroke engines.
Some of the very early (1968) 17" machines
may have been fitted with the Kirby Tecumseh HK 25, 2.5HP 4-Strokes.
