Gday,
I have decided to clean out all of that sludge and replace the key that is snapped on the bottom shaft. I have removed the end caps on ech side of all of the shafts (and the chains of course) but the shafts are too wide to lever out of the rotary hoe. Is there any way I can remove them for further cleaning/inspection?
PS What oil/lube should I use when I need to put it all back together? Do I need to fill the whole cavity with oil, or just oil the chains and whatnot?
