I just plug the governor spigot off and just use the throttle control to control the revs. The reason they fitted governors to the mowers (you are hanging onto the handelbars so why not use the throttle to control the revs as needed) OH I forgot all the other 4 stroke motors will throw a rod if you rev them to hard so they have to dumb everything down so the dumb people of this world can use a motor mower
