Yeah fair enough, I tried your two half red springs method, still just runs off its head. Ill probably get a tacho to see how high its going but if I can't fix it, probably shove it in the corner until I come across another to either plays swapsies with parts or engine swap it. I regret doing preventative maintenance on it cause it was running great (allegedly not running before it was handed to me) once I put some fuel in it, just needed the bulb and seal replaced and I probably could have got away with it. Last time I pull one of these apart 😂😂
