Have been to 5 different bunnings store a total of 6 times over the last 2 days (yes I have a problem).

I ended up helping 2 older guys with ozito and ryobi batteries because the 2 girls there just wanted to talk to each other and not work. The Ryobi rep (who was standing behind me for about 3 minutes) was not impressed with them when he walked in and I knew more about the products than bunnings staff. I ended up selling $650 of stuff - should have got a commission I thought.

My 'commission/reward' ended up being finding a clearance trolley with open pack $3 rover round air filters, $2 oregon chainsaw chains, $6 camlock sets, and $10 full chainsaw sharpening kits.

Then I go to another one and there are 2 very nice and knowledgeable girls in the tool department. Both also going to uni (I see a trend here). Talked for about 5 minutes about the Irwin and Wera tools they were unpacking (was quiet at 7pm). Very switched on and knew more than I did.

Go today to another store - 2 are talking and I ended up (after waiting 30 seconds) dropping the angle grinder spanner (needed for single lever tap, long story) on the table. They had no idea I was there.
