I wanted that black foam pipe insulation (an older gent later pointed it out to me immediately), but he took a few seconds of his time to try and figure out where I could find such an item. A female of the same age group would likely not try at all.
MF I have had the same problem. Trying to find pipe lagging is a PITA. It always tends to be up out of sight unless you are 6ft 8in.
What I do now is go on the website before I leave and write down Item numbers I need. Or, they are now rolling out on the website which aisles things are in at each store - not at all stores yet though. Eg K-Flex 9 x 13mm x 1m Elastomeric Pipe Insulation is in Aisle 50 in Belmont Wa store, or 48 in Bayswater WA.
