Hi all thanks for everyone’s help. I managed to remove the governor arm and repaired it. Luckily there was no other damage. The governor arm still doesn’t do anything though I can’t work out why. Is there another way of controlling the idle speed through the carby? Also The next issue I’m having is that the rev control arm (don’t know what else to call it sorry) doesn’t seem to be changing the revs of the engine. It seems to be running at the same all the way whether it you move the lever to the fast or slow position. Could there be a problem with the carby linkage or something? Also the engine is surging quite rapidly when running? Sorry bout the multitude of questions and thanks for any help in advance
