Thanks for the info, Gadge. I checked the EI module as Norm suggested. It's a sealed unit with no user-serviceable parts it seems. I cleaned all the contacts, remounted the EI module, re-installed the coil with correct flywheel clearance. Still no spark. Looks like I'll opt for the ODK unit you mentioned. The rest of the motor is in excellent nick for its age - smooth bore, no lip, minimal piston slap. Probably worth spending the $60+. Will post results here. Thanks again.
