Can't start lawnmower, as it's getting no gsoline. Gas comes thru the fuel line real good where the line runs through down low at the back of the engine, but when I run it back up to the carb to reconnect the line, no gasoline comes out the fuel line. The line isn't clogged, or it wouldn't be coming out at all. I cleaned the fuel filter. Any suggestions on what the problem is? This is a 2 year old Craftsman lawnmower.

Dee- Blow the gas line out. Sometimes they get partially plugged such that they let a little fuel thru but not enough for the engine to run. Remove the gas cap then blow back from the end that attaches to the carb. Hoipe this helps. John

it sounds like you may have a kink in the fuel line when you lower it it unkinks and when you raise it it blocks of I have had this happen a few times to me as the heat can make the hose go gummy with time hope this helps.
