G'day allI feel some buyers are working the system in the hope sellers won't pursue their rights.
This is largely a
balance between the value of the goods and the bother taken to take action.
If a seller can be bothered, it may be that eBay's internal processes are only the first call.
A more fruitful result may occur by asserting your rights in a small claims court in your state.
After all, there is clear evidence of a binding written contract.
Most folk do not pursue this because of the balance of costs and effort taken.
It's a pity we get these sorts of buyers on auction sites.
I encourage both sellers
and buyers to assert their consumer rights.
