"i have a plan" worked
i could not get the plate off the villiars to expose the electrical elements(they just sheared straight off). so i tried to take the flywheel off with a 1/2 inch rattle gun. no go. i had to use a 3/4 inch rattle gun (with the biggest fella in the room pushing down on it)??? it came off with help from a couple of screwdrivers.

the flywheel on the amplion was easy to remove (after i found the right tool for the job!) harmonic balance puller.
the points on the amp were not opening up at all. have set point gap.
the villagers points i had to remove with long nose pliers so they are cactus. any ideas of a similar set of points i could use.
thank you for your interest
