Latest snaps: ![[Linked Image from i1252.photobucket.com]](http://i1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh571/Lewy1971/IMG1177.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i1252.photobucket.com]](http://i1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh571/Lewy1971/IMG_1172.jpg) ![[Linked Image from i1252.photobucket.com]](http://i1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh571/Lewy1971/IMG_1174.jpg) Not perfect - blue paint doesn't match the decal, but it still looks a lot better than when I purchased it. Will post another picture when I've done the catcher.

Hello Lewy71, Mod BB and vccomm
When I look back at this restoration I see real attention to detail. The rear rollers seem to indicate a machine with low hours, and now, will last for many more decades.
The engine looks like it was just unpacked and fitted on the production line! I think this is our first fully restored Model 45 Lawn King.
A real credit Lewy71. You should be very proud of this great restoration. p.s. Keep Dino away from the catcher.
p.s. It may be that the original decal had a transparent background.

almost all decals were clear backgrounds i found jack , and its why its even harder to copy the colours mostly even the engine ones are ! when copied its the only way i have been told by the expert (S.B ones at least)

Hi vccomm
That's good information. It's a pity reproduction decals can not be made with transparent backgrounds. Oh well ... maybe someday.
All very interesting. ------------------------------ Jack

Hi vccomm and Mod CJ, Yes vccomm is absolutely correct. All the SB decals were printed onto a transparent base and thus it always looked like the printing was directly on the mower colour as individual letters etc. I'm sure it can be done as it was done originally and technology has moved forward in the past 50 years hasn't it ?? well I thought it did, anyway.................... BTW I think this is the second restored Pacific Blue Lawn King that's been documented on this forum. https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=14957&page=5Cheers BB
