they can yes , a taper fit , easiest way is just shock . put on a vice not in it , or something hard steel anvil an old piece of steel really just something solid mate , then hit it with a decent hammer eat will ruin the seal most times so just easy to hit it sharply . not enough to damage but it will leave a bruise

lift the whole engine . place the boss (rusty looking thing the blade plate fits onto)on something solid ...... then strike the other side of boss with a hammer it should pop off it is a taper fit not pressed on the crankshaft. sort of like a big V inside and end of the crank is too on the outside .
i have done it often just putting a sledge hammer on a steel bbq plate on concrete put the boss on sledge hammer and hit the side facing you not the thread though with a smaller ballpein hammer

not a lot no sorry , the ones i had were well past it when they got here , only saved the engines and a few bits . only selfdrives i worked on were hondas n rovers , they a pita enough . im sure blumby does though , very simillar to the autodrive and take a special belt too not just a normal V belt , another member ended up with the drive unit from one of mine .. scrapped the rest was beyond it
so i'll pass on the drive setup yay
