Can anyone tell me anything about this one from the tip shop? A Morrison 3 in 1? Three what's in one?


I also picked up this Rover Utility that has been converted to a 4 stroke Briggs. What would the original motor have been? Perhaps a Suzuki? I think it's cute they went to the trouble of writing 4 over the 2 on the badge.

Cleaned the air filter on the Utility, doesn't anyone bother with maintenance these days?,

and changed the plug, zoom, away she went. Some welding on the handle and one front wheel has a shot bearing and she's good to go.

The three operation modes are mow'n'throw [with deflector chute]; mulch [with mulching block] and mow'n'catch with catcher.

Yep, I'd say it would have had a Suzuki 2-stroke originally; have never heard of Rover using the 2-stroke Briggs/Komatsu engine of the same era.

The carby on the Suzis is prone to getting gummed up by crap fuel, and many folk give up on them when that happens.

I believe the 3in1 on the Morrison is cut, catch and throw. I don't believe the mulching plug option was available back in the days of these mowers, if they were, i've never seen one.
