Hi Reidoz,
Firstly I applaud you for still using a "Supercut" as they are the Rolls Royce of Scott Bonnar cylinder mowers, but sadly were surpassed by the model 45 due to it's much lower weight factor and ease of operation. I am shortly going to embark on a full strip down / rebuild of my all original unit that I picked up for $20 just over a year ago. At this point I haven't investigated the clutch arrangement so I can't give you anything positive but I'm sure that there are a couple of guys on here that have some more experience with them than I have at this stage.
Please don't be discouraged at this point as I'm sure one of our senior members will chime in soon.
Cheers, BB

Hi Reidoz,
Maybe you want to pay some delinquent $10 to go and fetch it one night LOL !!!
Some people are just strange, as soon as they know someone wants something they have they just turn into Bast#@%ds and it's "I've got something you want and you can't have it" no matter what.
I've been lucky to score a second one as a spares unit just in case, but it's fairly rusted up though. Honestly I can't see me ever requiring any drive components as they are just such a bulletproof machine.

Gday BB , stripped the clutch down it ended up being a proper drum clutch with brake shoe type pads , getting them re lined , should be all good , small problem on the strip , the drive sprocket is threaded on and not press fit or splined , completely shattered the clutch housing and shaft , thankfully I know a Machinist and is turning me up a new one , , grass is getting long , thanks for your input
Reidoz
