Hi vccomm, at first glance i was pretty sure that base was meant to have a cup starter full crank but i needed to be sure so out in the shed i went at 1:00am and took some photos. The highlighted bits speak for themselves but the other give away was the orange colored belt and blade cover, the side crank ones were black. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.outdoorking-forum.com.au/forum/uploads/usergals/2013/10/full-6430-12941-picture_357.jpg)

bigted, you need to set the pull-down box at the top of the reply window to show UBBCode rather than HTML. Normally UBBCode is set automatically as the default, but that doesn't seem to be happening for you or for Dave, I don't know why.

Hi Dave, I have a Series 80 T-A-Cut with the full crank 160cc engine the same as Bigteds, but mine has white handles originally, not black, like Michael's ....perhaps his machine is original early machine with the gear start engine.

Thanks Grumpy, the HTML box was preset, i tried to change it to UBB but the option did not come up in the drop down. HTML was the only option available at the time. It still does not give me this option, even as i try now with this reply. I also tried yesterday using Google Chrome instead of internet explorer and still the same result.

Hi bigted, here is a couple of things you can try: Try downloading Mozilla Firefox....this is the browser best suited to our forum. Go to "My Stuff" in the toolbar above open and slide down the drop-down list; Click on "Cookies" and when open select "Expire Cookies" this will log you out though, so you will have to log in again. Then try the "Markup panel again and set "Using UBB Code"

Thanks Darryl, cleared the cookies and still the same. Downloaded firefox and posting this comment through firefox, but still the same, there is no option to change the drop down to UBB, it still only gives me the HTML option. At this stage i guess i'll have to post my pics and let a moderator change the Markup code from their end.

Either motor would work, I think I would prefer the older series 70 motor with the pull rope facing the back as the series 80 gear start motors pull from the side, I could just see myself or somone slipping and pulling the machine over onto themselves...
