All good found the problem with the lawnkeeper.It turned out the small spring had broken and somebody had made it shorter.Therefore not returning to idle,if that's what they call idle.

Now I'm still learning how to date them does this mean 2008 or 2006? Or do I have it completely wrong?

The problem with the Vantage was I didn't put the carby back onto the manifold correctly so the o-ring and the plastic thingy was just flapping around in the wind.My bad.It is almost ready to be sold as well.I haven't taken any pictures of it yet(ran out of daylight).I will tomorrow and show you how it looks.Any guess on the sale price I should put on the Lawnkeeper?
Just to add I still really don't like working on these.I really think they should have some king of linkage.There really doesn't seem to be much of a rev change from idle to flat out.
