All good found the problem with the lawnkeeper. It turned out the small spring had broken and somebody had made it shorter. Therefore not returning to idle,if that's what they call idle.
Here it is ready for sale.

Now I'm still learning how to date them does this mean 2008 or 2006? Or do I have it completely wrong?

The problem with the Vantage was I didn't put the carby back onto the manifold correctly so the o-ring and the plastic thingy was just flapping around in the wind.My bad.It is almost ready to be sold as well.I haven't taken any pictures of it yet(ran out of daylight).I will tomorrow and show you how it looks.Any guess on the sale price I should put on the Lawnkeeper?
Just to add I still really don't like working on these.I really think they should have some king of linkage. There really doesn't seem to be much of a rev change from idle to flat out.

Oh Blumby, stop whining, theyre not victa 2 strokes...lol
Youve done a great job on the lawnkeeper, i sold one today for $160. it just depends on the market up there in sunny QLD and how much competition you have in the neighbouring suburbs, but $140-$160 for a serviced machine is not unreasonable.

Good on you blumby, if your into doing them up for onsale its good to do 2&4 strokes and once you've done a few 4 strokes you'll find yourself wanting to do more allthough I think you are addicted to 2 strokees. Their all fun to play with and more options and you get plenty of trusted advice from the outdoor king forum. Cheers roey

I'm not to sure about wanting to do more. Maybe if they had a linkage it would be better and easier. If it wasn't for selling them to make a few dollars then I couldn't see me playing around with them. I do prefer 2 stokes though. Now that I have these 2 done now I have two 2 strokes to do then another two rover 4 strokes. By the time I'm done should have 6 mowers to sell. Also yes there is a good network of knownledgable people on here.

know nothing
you will find the more you play with 4strokes , the easier they are though . try out new things , adjustments and the like , allhave them just hard to find and sometimes it doesnt feel right to bend tabs to adjust speeds ! now you done 1 the next is more fun smile good luck with it

I can't see me doing anything with it.So could they PM me and let me know what they want off it.
Thanks.

Not the best place to take photos but you get the idea.Went to bunnings last weekend and found that they still stock and sell these mowers for $299.So I think if I get around the $150 to $160 I'll be happy with that.
