My tac has me stumped replaced decompressor, ignition module, checked the top seal and replaced the fuel today and it still starts first go runs for about 1-2 mins then cuts out without revving high first so I cleaned the coil armatures and regapped the coil to flywheel and still does it any ideas?
I know you said it doesnt rev high before cutting out and i assume it starts up again without a problem so before you get into changing coils and modules again try isolating the cutoff wires in the carb and see what happens. if it still persists check your float level(sometimes the shorter needles help, or just file about 1/2mm off your existing one). Another stubborn problem is sometimes the fuel cap is not venting properly(loosen it up and try again).
I disabled the cut off still did it I checked the float and needle too maybe ill file some off and I'm certain I checked to fuel cap a while ago. It seems to be fuel related cos it will start straight up after you prime it again
