No probs mate. I'll send you a couple of pics when the motors off. The base has had plenty of rubbing down the left hand side, but it's not missing any chunks or anything like that. I'll get some close ups and let you see.

Sweet. U should the one i wanna rebase its basically split in two an the prevous owner pop rivoted sheet metal to hold it lol

Going of the sticker on the cowl the serial number is 52 71 0 19931 on the one with the Mk 1 base, but I haven't checked the crank case on that one yet.

The other number straight of the engine is 52 74 0 31626.

thats one of my mark1 mowers. the base is almost split in two so thats why iam after a base atm :-)

OK this one 52 71 0 19931 is defiantly a VC-160 Mark II from 1971,where as this one 52 74 0 31626 also a VC-160 Mark III from 1974.It must have been almost one of the last VC-160's.Well the one that I thought was the Mark I must have had the badge changed as it does have a mark I badge on the front.If you could take some pictures from the sides so I can see where the handles go on the bases.This could confirm or deign the correct engine numbers.
