Looks like LEV115, not sure on engine size. (big engine I think 4.5)

Try this link for engine exploded diagram and parts.

I was working on a 4.5 premier engine today.
I personally like them, yes, a child could start one.
I notice the valves are the other way around, compared to a briggs.

If you need a pic of the linkages I can take one.

Tecumseh motors are OK. When they are running right.

Mostly its carb issues. Same as you get with any mower that is gravity fed with no fuel tap.
I have one here on a Rover Rapid. Its sat for more than 3 months, prime and pull and off it went, just chuggin, took about 2 mins before it wound itself up. Runs fine now. lol

Theres all those different holes and stuff. Its a bit complicated. Best i can recall that motor was only found on Victas. And i think i have one here, possibly in bits. Will have a peak out the back.

The TSV90 was the common motor. Or is it TVS90.

The more Tecumseh's you can find to put in the big parts bucket the more fun you will have. I think i have run out of useable carbs.

that seems to be the only issue with it yup , carby . it runs well when i get it started just wasnt sure what to hook upto which . the pic's helped though i'll go have another try at it soon . see what i can make up . seems a quiet engine too the only smoke was at 1st start up as normal it was probably tipped every which way before

Not a big fan of the newer Tecumseh myself, but then again I haven't had a lot to do with them either.I had a couple before leaving Canberra I gave them to Ty.One was going and one was nearly going.I don't think he was going to play with the one that was nearly going. He doesn't like or have time for them.So if you need bits for it.I'd ask him, when he finally gets time and comes back on-line.

I wouldnt imagine it would be too much different to a TSV90 linkage wise.

Oh and i was going to say before but i forgot.
The valves on the earlier Tecumseh motors were the same as a Briggs. Dont know why or when they swapped them but they did.
Is it that motor thats the pain, you cant get the mainfold off without taking the muffler off first.

Every time i go to the scrap yard, If i see a tecumseh I always grab the air filter and lid. The older rectangular ones. Take em home wash em out and put them in my filters box. Mower shop says you cant buy them.

thats the one yup , still playing with it . carbs all full of gunky melted rubber looking stuff all over the needle in the bottom , bowl was clean just a little dust ! so when i get back to it pull it apart n soak it in thinners

Most of those type carbs have a rubbised seat.

Not like a motorbike where the seat is brass or alloy and the needle has a viton tip. I think its viton, its a hard fuel proof rubber. The seats in the mower carbs is softer.

So ethanol fuel, and most likely thinners will eat that seat out.

If that seat is no good it will just keep flooding.

MAN the fuel was bad in it ! half a tank and came out like diesel looking rubbish . bur now runs ok when it goes but a pig to start . maybe junk it i feel smirk

If you are fixing mowers, keep it.

A carb will turn up.

You are most welcome David, I'm glad they helped someone.
If I haven't touched one of these for I while, I still sometimes get the linkages wrong.
