I would like to know what paint people use to paint up the mower bases as i did a practise base n used cheap pressure pack paint. And when fuel got on it n i wiped the fuel off it alsp wiped the paint straight off. So what paint doesn fuel n oil wreck? An can be brought in pressure pack form :-)

Generally I use wattyl kill rust, the sun fades it badly if left out but otherwise its pretty durable. The pressure pack cans take about 6 hours to get touch dry though.

Hi to All,
I also used Wattyl Killrust, it works very well...just give it time to dry properly...that is most important. wink

I got told a long time ago that Killrust does not have much UV resistance and thats why it fades so bad, havent used it in years so might be different now, I did just buy some for the colour match for the Victa emblem on my 18 but that wont see a lot of sun so should be OK. my 2c worth.
