Got a phone call monday night, its the guy from the scrap yard. "Got another twin here for ya". I thought it was a bit strange as he usualy keeps and finds nothing for me.

Id sooner a half decent late model but i wont say no. The other one ive got needs parts anyway. Muffler in particular. I think the paint on this one is actually better. The back axle needs a bit of work and one end of the spreader bar is broken.

Also grabbed a Husqvarna mulcher. This might get put aside with the Solo untill i have a booth to blast them in so they can be repainted.
[Linked Image]
Early model Colt 5. Should be able to make one up out of the two. Have a colt 8 here with a stuffed rear axle and sad deck.
[Linked Image]
Two store brand Victas. One id put up here previous and the low arch. The high arch, the base is mint, the low arch is good too, axles are a bit sloppy but thats probably the clips. If you want them put aside speak up, or they will be fixed and sold.

Not sure whats going on.

What i am sure of is that whatever it is that does go on, it will be slowly. No suprises here.

Reason i said that Joe, i need to move house. Last thing i need is more 'man junk'. Im not a hoarder but i do like special things. I could warm right up to vintage and 'special' mowers but i could also get something, fix it flog it and be able to afford to move, rather than having cash tied up in stuff that i wont have room to store and wont use like it should be used.

I made myself a list.

Corvette
505 mustang (to use)
Backup 505 mustang
backup backup 18" alloy base (will never need as long as im turning over mowers)
Vortex V40 back up to the backup backup.
Tiltacut.
I want a 2000 Vac.
Rover Shredder.
2 stroke powered Colt.
Not sure about trimmer/brushcutter, blower and hedge trimmer.

That was it.
Sunbeam (not sure what model it is, pictures are not far off), is a recent additon to the list only because ive found a catcher for it. The reason i never scrapped it was because i liked the look of it. its a Victa but not a Victa.
I might squeeze the twin in there. I would like to at minimum, fix it. I dont hold a sentimental attachment too it. I got it as an investment. By that i mean what it cost me is way way less than what its worth. Ditto with the spares mower. But if i fix it, i will use it, i might love it and never sell it.
I hid the fairlight 400 up the back shed from myself. Jeffery wont have to talk too hard to get his hands on that. I got it because i thought it was full size. Didnt know at the time, didnt even know there was a victa that was Anyting but 18".

Ive got 2 project cars and the parts to finish the projects.
Ive got 5 bikes as well. plus oodles of spares for each one.

Too much crap.

Nah once ive fixed it Jeffery, the rest will be of no use to me. So there will be a good base etc up for grabs.

Or if the right offer came along, i wouldnt be able to say no to selling them as a job lot.

And both of them have the propper sloping air filter cap. yay

Too add to my list above.
Super 600 with a series 80 MkII
and i would not object to a 550 SP.
I also have the power plus SP here. I was going to fix it and give it to my mates mum to look after for me but ive got a few other SP's here now so i will fix it up and keep it for myself.

And i forgot the utility. Ive got a rear facing base (orange), tank off a late PT utitlity that goes on the handle, so i want to build up a special for myself. Series 80 mkII powered.

Too many mowers.
Most of them are because i have the intention of starting a lawn mowing round. Probably dont need them all but its all bases covered.

Picked up some mowers i bought on eBay.
These are the ones i thought might be of interest.

A monaro. Bit strange, the sticker on the cowl says series 80 but its internal coil. Base is in real good shape.

Pair of G3 power pluses. Well thats assuming they are original.
[Linked Image]
Pair of low arches. Base on the left could be the goods for someone interested in store brands. Its got a 125 utility motor on it.
[Linked Image]
This one is a real shame. Someone has put the sunbeam motor on the Corvette base.
[Linked Image]
And they hacked a hole out for the muffler. Bit of a shame.
[Linked Image]

The rest is all just power torque and steel base crap.
A few 4 strokes.

All I really need for the twin is the back cylinders hole cover.Neither base had them.

Shame the monaro cowl has a busted bit on it frown that's the one model I have decided to keep all I can get of for now.

No promises.

One or both might be minus mufflers (if they are power plus mufflers) and one minus the cowling.

I have a Power Plus self propelled that i want to put together. Ty was going to bring some stuff for me for it, not sure what.
Not sure what he did with the pics etc, he split them out of the thread he did on the VC160's

Both would be good.Mufflers I don't mind if there not there, but I would really like to have the Cowls on them.Don't know if that's possible. As that is one thing I am really short of.

What cowls do you need???

I may have one rear tank black one in a box, not sure would have to look.

I do have a few white sport ones here but being white they do not tend to age as well.

It's the top cowls I need.I have two white ones but they are crap, and most likely not savable. So I was hoping for them as well.Which on these two are the black one's.

Actually after looking closely at the black cowls,I think they won't be quite what I'm after. As it looks like black ones have a box around where the stickers go.So if you have the white ones that would be more suited to what I'm after.

If you were hoping to use them as vc spors cowls there is a difference on the surface of the plastic where the labels were meant to go...
