Anyone Know much about the electric ones?

Also, is there anything else anyone would like me to photograph, I will be checking under the hood before testing it out, and I can get some photo's while I'm in there.

Cheers
Ty

Here is just a few more pictures, showing the decals, etc.

I have a feeling his machine never had all that much use, and was certainly well kept!

Hi Ty, congrats on a great score and welcome as a Scotty 45 owner.
This machine is in unreal condition for its age and should give you hours of mowing pleasure. wink

I'll take a few pictures 'Under the hood' tonight, and then Give it a test run, I have a nice little patch between the house and the shed that is just screeming out for a reel mower!

Cheers
Ty

Well, She works!

Howeve3r I have not had a chance to give it a real go just yet!

I did the lawns on the weekend (they were quite overdue) and the area i had in mind for this one was brought down from knee high to an inch higher than desired, using My dad's old VC-160, catcher on (7m2 Area, grass was so long i filled the catcher 9 times!) then, when i was happy with it, I pulled out the electric scotty and...

...realised i did not have a long enough cord to reach the yard!

Maybe next weekend!

Cheers
Ty

Hi Ty, if the reel is reasonably sharp and adjustments OK, I think you will be amazed at the finish it leaves. Don't forget to post pics, mate. wink

Snap I can't believe the condition of it.It looks like it only about 2 years old. Off-course we all know better than that.
I think we should have a Scott Bonner race.

Here for a good time, not a long time.
