Hi all thanks in advance. I picked up a sweet little Mobilco Cylinder mower today and I was wanting to know if there is anywhere to get the catcher decals and is there some sort of filter that goes in the carby bell?.

Hi Chad

The Decals, you will need to contact silensmessor, and ask as he may have them or could make them from an image ,I've
heard some sign writers have the machines to make them and sticker Manufacturers.

There is usually a filter in the air cleaner housing and a mesh screen but I don't have any original images of your
mowers filter.

I've seen people just put sponge in the housing or folded flywire even a stainless scrubber ,I guess the flywire and stainless scrubber work
better than no filter.

Cheers
Max.

Thanks Max
I have sent msg to ebay seller re decal.
I managed to get it running today and even mowed a bit of my lawn! I was wondering how the drive side bearing for the reel gets greased? Cheers Chad

G'day Chad

It's amazing how long these old mowers will run for ,made to repair instead of replacing.

There is an owners manual and some model history here thanks to Jack, it mentions lubricating the mower bearings under servicing.
The manual mentions 5 grease nipples, on some mowers they have spring loaded caps that you lift up and squirt oil into.

Cheers
Max.
