Hi All,
I have the Rancher model 1755. I have the Parts manual and owners Manuals.
I have a new belt ( A07641 ) Belt clutch drive (42). My problem is neither manual shows me how the belt runs around the pully system.
I had to get a new belt as the old one exploded and I was not able to get a photo on how they ran before hand.
So if anyone has a few photos they could post that would be great.
I live in North Brisbane, if anyone knowns a good mower shop for more help.

Max that first diagram is a rancher 2 not a 1755, 1755 is transaxle drive. really simple as there is only 1 idler. you can see it pretty clearly in this diagram

so 17 is the engine pulley, and it goes straight to #5 and then around #8 the tension idler pulley. it is spring loaded and on a linkage to the brake pedal.

You will need to take the smaller deck belt #24 off at the front to get the clutch belt on the top of the engine pulley

The whole process is easier if you remove the keepers #16 and #20

My problem was I had belt (42) on the wrong side of pully (8)
RE keeper (16) im guessing my belt (42) should be on the inside of 16 and 20 ?

Wow what a great team, your help has saved me.
I hope to fix it all tomorrow and get my lawn done, weeds a 5 foot tall !

Lastly, spring 32 (A07745) on the cutter deck is connected only at the spring end, where does the hook end connect ? im thinking on page 2 Chassis maybe on (20) or (23) Arm rear / Arm front ?

Yes, both belts need to be inside the keepers.

That spring, 32, There should be 2 of them, one on each side. one end hooks through the top of the deck housing (you should be able to see it beside the u bolt, the other should be attached to a bolt on the frame above the deck. #34 I believe. The idea is they pull the deck toward the rear of the mower to tension the deck belt.
