Just a bit more,
Villiers being an entirely in-house operation they made everything themselves which sometimes led to smaller threads being somewhat vague in size. As tooling wore it went a little off size. This didn't matter as long as you used genuine Villiers spares as they were equally a trace off size but can give rise to some entertaining moments when you find your freshly made parts are too tight or too sloppy. It is not you it is Villiers

Hello Willo and all
Yep, brilliant!
This traditional green colour is a different take on the ones I have seen.

Nonetheless, your machine looks spectacular.

I should point out that Greens was one of the BIG THREE companies
that was there from the early days of lawnmowers.

It is heartening that another Master Lightweight is saved.

Willo, we look forward to your next project.
Many thanks for helping members and the Record.

Hi Willo,

Nice to see some interest in rebuilding some less well known makes and machines.

I'm sorry to say I can't be of use for the Webb. The only one I've ever seen in person was a Wasp. I have to say, I loved it.

When trying to find "odd" parts, I usually hit up eBay and search international sellers. I got heaps of stuff for my I/C Briggs and Stihl 009L from the US. It'd start by looking at the UK eBay market. I'm sure there are parts for the Webb in Oz, but how much I'm not sure.

Hi Mystyler

Thank you for your comments and suggestion to look on eBay UK, I have looked there when I was working on the Greens, but will go to that website again.

Will keep you posted on any developments and will make sure I post a photo of the finished product.

Hi Guys

I am hoping you can assist me, I am after a muffler for an ATCO Qualcast motor, fitted to a 14in barrel mower. Just wondering if anyone out there has one they are willing to part with.

Happy to pay for shipping as well.

Thank you

Willo

I realise this was a while ago but what type do you need.? A picture of the mower will help. some types are available here in UK still.
