The Landlines as we know them are past history and merely a decoration left on the wall in the kitchen like ours is.

Call pricing on them is just way out of touch compared to call plans on mobiles that can be had for as little as $9.99 a month with a small amount of mobile data attached. This is what I have and truthfully I've never looked back.

BTW that's $120 a year and you'd get close to that every 3 months on a landline bill and that's even if you never made a call.
