Hello ODK Members and Guests
I am glad some press is giving recognition to a growing international
community - to fix things rather than replace them!

"All over Australia people are fighting the war on waste, one broken toaster at a time."

I just wish manufacturers would take notice here.
There is a moral obligation - in a diminishing world - for manufacturers
to make products that last and are economically repairable, and not
the throw-away crap they force upon us.

Too mush BS has been spread by large corporations to have us
want the latest - as though this was a desirable human trait.
This cycle requires inferior products that do not last.

Many thanks to ODK members who repair old stuff.
