AVB dealers are not interested in fixing things, the aim is to make the repair so expensive that often it is cheaper to get a new item. Wish I had the gall to charge a tenth of what they charge. BB for some reason the pics won't attach have to try later. OK it won't attach pics so I will try to explain it. The long governor spring goes over/ along the governor arm, it hooks into a small hole in the top of the plastic throttle butterfly mechanism and the other end hooks into a small hole on the governor arm just below where the governor rod clips in. You can just see the spring coil just on the bend in the governor arm rod. Another thing I like about these Chondas is that you very rarely get one with a dirty air filter, probably because they don't last long enough to get the filter dirty
