Hi Sparker the washers go under the cam, to lift it higher to close the poppet off. On the inside of the cap I put a 6mm nut so that can be used as the idle adjustment.Where the old stop pins/rubber boot fit I tap that to 6mm on an angle so the cam can come around as far as it can (this is where the cam stop ramp is) Originally I just tapped it square but it prevented the cam coming around far enough and I had to grind a bit off the ramp. What the aim of this is, is to allow the lifter to sit on the highest point without moving down on the back of the cam. If only Victa had not put that stupid hump in the cam none of this would be a problem
