Hi Everyone, this is my first post. I had a problem with my SB45 clutch coming loose. When I stripped it down I found some dodgy looking repairs. Looks like a previous owner has slid a 3/4 tube over the 5/8" shaft then drilled in a couple of locating holes. My thoughts are to remove the sleeve and buy a new 5/8" clutch, my worry is the sleeve may have been put on because the shaft had been damaged. Any suggestions? Unit is a 14" with a Briggs and Stratton engine (912), model 45 - 30645. Incidentally my mower was from WA and had the balance half ring on the clutch .
