I have put a puncture repair patch over the hole and it seems to hold. I have taken the spark plug off and touched it against the metal frame. I have a spark. Sorry. It quiet sure what you mean by spaying something down the air filter hole.
I have also noticed a drain hose of some sort that runs down to the bottom of the motor has broken off
From somewhere. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.
But I have a new bulb coming at the end of the week hopefully. I'm trying to avoid buying a new motor
