This is the far-less-common colour, the most popular
being the red and white ones. Using racing drivers
certainly helped the perception, I guess, that the red
ones were faster.

But they also used the camp and colourful 'actor' Noel Brophy,
so I guess Victa had a balanced range. I love the rare blue and
purple jobs, because they were so bold!

I had a similar experience Gadge.
I guess, at the Disco era - with flairs, wide belts, platform shoes,
and vibrant colours, this was the machine that would stand out on the
dance floor. I'm sure Al Grassby had one. grin
