I have one of those purple things, but it has a Briggs motor on it, I always thought somebody had done a number on it with the horrible colour, but the purple hub caps had me thinking it might have been a factory colour
It was! When we first unpacked one of these, the old man's comment was 'the Italians will go for this one' [in Cobram, Vic, which had and still has a large community of Italian descent].
